Community Sport Development 

The Sport and Recreation Branch (SRB) of the Department of Tourism, Heritage and Culture house a network of regional consultants to support the delivery of community-based sport, recreation and physical activity programs and services. The regional consultants assist community sport organizations with tools and resources to develop sound governing organizations. They provide advice, information, best practices, resources and funding in the areas of organizational and leadership development. Regional consultants can assist with the following: 

• Organizational development (governance, policies, etc.)
• Coach/Leadership training (NCCP and non-NCCP training) 
• Funding
• Safety in sport
• Physical Literacy and the Long-Term development of sport and physical activity 
• And more
