Our Members

Our members consist of provincial organizations that have an approved constitution and are directly involved in the day-to-day operations and development of amateur sport in New Brunswick. Each provincial organization must be the provincial leader in its business and a member of its national association where one exists. Only one provincial organization within each area of sport development shall be recognized.

An ACTIVE MEMBER shall be entitled to send one (1) representative who may hold one (1) vote at any General or Special Meetings of Sport NB.

2008 – Jean-Guy Robichaud 

Jean-Guy, known for his contribution to the development of Hockey, is a recipient of the Hockey New Brunswick Vance Toner Development Award. Having been part of the committee who founded Hockey NB in the late 1960s, Jean-Guy dedicated most of his life to the world of sports education. For this we honor him as an honorary member of Sport NB. 

2010 – Vance Toner

Inducted into the New Brunswick Sports Hall of Fame in 1991 and later appointed as a Member of the Order of Canada, Vance has led an exemplary life in the field of physical education and leadership. Fueled by his passion for sports, he devoted his entire life to the growth and prosperity of sports within this province and contributed to many sporting initiatives across the country. Undoubtably remembered for his many accomplishments, Vance Toner’s legacy will carry on through us.
