Sport NB Employee Change

Sport New Brunswick is proud to welcome Jason Dickson as our new Executive Director. Jason is replacing Nicole Smith who, after almost 6 years with the organization, will be leaving to join the Secretariat for Community Non-Profit Organizations as executive director. NCCP – Multi Sport B Course

The Centre for Coaching Education of New Brunswick will offer the National Coaching Certification Program Multi-Sport Part B Theory clinic in English in Fredericton. 2008 Canadian Men's Wheelchair Basketball Team Announcement

The Canadian Men’s Wheelchair Basketball Team has been chosen after a week long selection camp at the University of Regina. Twenty Eight players from across Canada attended and 12 players have been selected to represent Canada at the 2008 Paralympic Games from September 6-17 in Beijing, China.

The 12 players selected for the team consist of Jaimie Borisoff, BC, Chris Stoutenburg, ON, Abdi Fatah Dini, ON, Ross Norton, AB, Richard Peter, BC, Robert Hedges, BC, Yvon Rouillard, QC, David Durepos, NB, Patrick Anderson, ON, Joey Johnson, MB,Adam Lancia, ON, and David Eng, QC.

The Canadian Men’s team is currently the 2 – time Paralympic Gold medalists and are ranked #1 in the World.
