Live it!
Make True Sport live within your team or
community! Develop ideas such as:
- Alternative Scorecard: winning is a
good thing, but it's not the only thing.
There can be many other measures of success.
Set other specific goals. They can be simple
(making new friends) or sophisticated (team
performance targets). Consider where winning
fits on your alternative scorecard.
- Make a Difference: True Sport is all about
giving back. Generate ideas for how you can
give back to your community. Volunteer!
- Foster a "Lift Up" Culture: Discuss how t
o create a spirit of encouragement (versus
criticism and humiliation) where people can
succeed through inspiration and empowerment.
