Given the on-going economic challenges of the Maritime region, the cost for kids to play minor hockey is often outside the reach of many families. With registration and equipment costs continuing to climb each year, too many of our youngsters are not getting the chance to play the best game in the world and, thereby, keeping their dream of playing in the NHL alive!

The Maritime NHL’ers for Kids Golf Classic is driven by current and former NHL’ers from the Maritimes who believe many of today’s kids need financial assistance in order to play minor hockey, as they once did, right here in the Maritimes.

The objective of the project is to provide much needed money to assist
financially challenged families meet the cost of minor hockey participation. Our objective is to assist with the costs of registration and equipment for children playing minor hockey anywhere in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island.

Application for funding is easy. Simply complete a KidSport application form.
