The Investors Group Volunteer Sport Administrator Award is an integral part of each Community Coaching Conferences sponsored by Investors Group (Please see attached). Please submit your nominations by March 15, 2008.
Objectives
The award recognizes the contribution to community sport programs made by a dedicated volunteer who has given countless hours of time so that coaches and athletes can enjoy the benefits of well-organized sport.
Eligibility
The nominee demonstrates outstanding commitment and service in an administrative capacity for a club, organization, or event, resulting in a strong impact on the community for coaches and athletes. The coaching conference organizing committee selects the award recipient.
Nominations
Nominators must provide the following information:
name, address, and phone number of the nominee
name, address, and phone number of the nominator
the history of service to community sport programs reflecting the commitment and service of the nominee
list of other awards or recognition received
description of any outstanding qualities or contributions that the nominator feels would be of interest to the selection committee.
Presentations
The presentation to the award recipient will be made at the New Brunswick Investors Group Aboriginal Coaching Summit. The recipient will automatically become eligible for the Investors Group National Volunteer Sport Administrator Award, which is presented at the annual Sport Leadership Awards Dinner.
Submissions
Approved Investors Group Community Coaching Conferences organizing committees are responsible for sending the call for nominations and striking a selection committee that will receive and review the nominations, and select the award recipient. Please note that only one award recipient can be recognized at each conference. The organizing committees are also responsible for providing CAC with the documents/bio outlining their award recipient's contributions.
