The 2008 New Brunswick Investors Group Aboriginal Coaching Summit will be held on March 26-27, 2008 at the Rodd's Miramichi. This conference will introduce delegates to the new National Coaching Certification Program, explore what it means to be a coach and identify ongoing opportunities for coaching education. To register as a delegate please contact Jason Peters no later than Friday, March 15, 2008. Aboriginal participants outside of the Miramichi will have travel, accommodations and meals covered.



The Investors Group Aboriginal Volunteer Sport Administrator Award will also be presented during the conference to a dedicated volunteer who has given countless hours of time so that coaches and athletes can enjoy the benefits of well-organized sport.



To nominate a deserving person please complete the attached nomination pamphlet. Nominees will have demonstrated outstanding commitment and service in an administrative capacity for a club, organization, or event, resulting in a strong impact on the community for coaches and athletes. Nominations must also be sent to Jason Peters and received by Friday, March 15th, 2008.



The 2008 New Brunswick Investors Group Aboriginal Coaching Summit is an initiative of the Department of Wellness, Culture and Sport in partnership with Sport Canada and the Investors Group.
