Active Members

An ACTIVE MEMBER of Sport NB shall be the society most closely identified with and carrying the most influence in the coordination of a sport throughout New Brunswick. Active members actively promote their sport throughout New Brunswick. Only one organization per sport is recognized as an Active Member. Members must be registered as a not-for-profit organization under the New Brunswick or Federal Companies Act, or constituted as a not-for-profit organization.

An ACTIVE MEMBER shall be entitled to send two (2) representatives who may each hold one (1) vote at any General or Special Meeting of Sport NB.

Associate Members

An ASSOCIATE MEMBER is open to organizations and groups that have publicly recognized status as a credible organization or body, and share a mutual interest in aspects of Sport New Brunswick's mandate. Associate members need not have consistent, direct involvement with amateur sport. Only one organization per sport, recreation or physical activity area is recognized as an Associate Member. Members must be registered as a not-for profit organization under the New Brunswick or Federal Companies Act, or constituted as a not-for-profit organization.

An ASSOCIATE MEMBER shall be entitled to one (1) vote at any General or Special Meeting of Sport NB.

Friend Members

A FRIEND of Sport NB is an individual membership open to members of the public who support the principles and mission of Sport NB.

A FRIEND of Sport NB shall not be entitled to a vote at any General or Special Meeting of Sport NB.

Corporate Members

A CORPORATE MEMBER is a for-profit business.

A CORPORATE MEMBER shall not be entitled to a vote at any General or Special Meeting of Sport NB.
